Rouen, France – (July, 2019) – Nexira announces that the new spray-drying tower located in Marudur, Tamil Nadu, is now fully operational to serve all its customers in India. The tower was built in partnership with Synthite, the world’s largest producer of spice oleoresins who offers a wide array of natural ingredients for the food, health and fragrance industries.
Nexira opened its office in Mumbai in 2012 to serve the requirements of both global and local customers in one of the fastest growing market in the world. With India as the world’s largest consumer of gum acacia, Indian food and grocery industry ranks as the sixth largest in the world1. Foreign investors, multinationals and local companies are seeing this potential and are investing in the Indian food processing sector.
Today with this new state-of-the-art production facility operated in partnership with Synthite, Nexira can supply large quantities of spray-dried gum acacia dedicated to this growing Indian market.

Nexira and Synthite will officially inaugurate the new production facility at the end of September.
